Story of Mortal Kombat 1:

In the aftermath, Liu Kang gets complete control over the special hourglass to create a new Era timeline. At the end of the Mortal Kombat 11, he got the power of God. The Fire God Liu Kang uses Hourglass to discover a reborn Universe of Mortal Kombat with new fatalities and fighting modes. He makes an alliance with Outworld with various types of creatures so that he can keep the tournament on the page. In the new tournament, Fire God selects Kenshi Takahashi, Raiden, Kung Lao, and Raiden. Raiden wins all matches and is the champion of Earthreleam. Geras comes to inform Kang that Shang Tsung has come back and is working as an advisor of Sindel the Empress of Outworld with the help of an unknown benefit. He launches an investigation with his team.

Kang meets with Tarkatans who inform him that their leader Baraka faces Tsung but Shang takes bone marrow from him. Shang wants to control the power of Tarkat and he is busy injecting the serum with the Tarkat virus into Mileena the Crown princess of Outworld. When he hears that General Shao and Kitana are coming, he uses his ally Quan Chi to mislead them. But after revealing the truth, many battles occur between them. When a group of Liu Kang is fighting with a group of Titan Shang, Sindel dies due to wounds but chooses and gives the designation of Queen to Mileena. It is necessary to remove Titan Shang Tsung and his timeline. Because he summons an evil army and for this purpose, Kang makes an alliance with the group of Shang Tsung and Quan Chi.
